You have until mid August to sign up for free Greek lessons in Sitia. Go to the dimos office with a photocopy of your passport or ID card  (opposite the main car park, behind the Cypress bank and next to the vehicle car park of a large local garage) and ask to fill in a form for Greek lessons.  Make sure you leave a phone number. If there are enough people interested, classes start in September..
